Garlic butter chicken bites cooked in one skillet. Juicy chicken pieces with garlic and butter ready in about 20 minutes.
Sometimes I want a quick dinner that is simple but still very tasty. On those days I cook garlic butter chicken bites.
The chicken is cut into small pieces, so it cooks very fast and becomes golden on the outside and juicy inside.
I like this recipe because it needs only one pan and a few basic ingredients, but the garlic butter makes the chicken taste rich and comforting.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
1. Prepare the chicken
Cut the chicken breasts into bite-size pieces.
Try to make the pieces about the same size so they cook evenly.
Season the chicken with salt, pepper and paprika. Mix well so the seasoning covers all the pieces.
2. Heat the pan
Place a large skillet on medium heat.
Add olive oil and let it warm for about 30 seconds.
3. Cook the chicken
Add the chicken pieces to the skillet in one layer.
Cook for about 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken becomes golden.
Make sure the chicken is fully cooked inside.
4. Add the garlic butter
Add the butter to the pan and let it melt.
Then add the minced garlic.
Cook for about 30 seconds while stirring so the garlic does not burn.
5. Coat the chicken
Stir the chicken pieces in the garlic butter so every piece is coated in the sauce.
Cook for another 1–2 minutes.
6. Serve
Sprinkle chopped parsley on top.
Serve warm with rice, pasta, potatoes or vegetables.
Tips
- Cut the chicken into equal pieces so it cooks evenly.
- Do not cook garlic too long because it becomes bitter.
- If the pan becomes dry, add a small piece of butter.
Storage
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheat gently in a pan so the chicken stays juicy.
